Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, one very good view

Through the front door and to your left is the large open-plan living space: a 74-inch TV and a cosy wood log fire at one end, a dining area in the middle, and a well-equipped kitchen at the other. Sea views run right through it, and the balcony opens straight off it.

The master suite is on the same level — a king-size bed and a futon, high ceilings, a minimal and classic style with selected artwork, and that same view. Its en-suite is large and freshly tiled: a spacious shower, storage, sink and toilet.

Next door is the second bedroom, with the second king-size bed. It is a distinctive round room, with a window that frames the sea. From here a Jack & Jill bathroom is shared with the third bedroom, and locks from both sides so nobody has to negotiate.

A curved staircase reaches the first floor and the fourth bedroom — a king-size made up from zip-and-link beds that can be split into two singles on request, its own newly decorated en-suite shower room, air conditioning, and a small desk for anyone who has to work.

Sliding doors from that bedroom open onto the roof terrace: lounge seating, sun loungers, an outdoor dining table, and the Channel in front of all of it.
